Abstract
- Benign familial pemphigus (Halley- U alley) in a white man aged 51 had been refractory to conservative management since the age of 17. The patient developed basal cell epitheliomata at the anal margin following radio- therapy for the pemphigus. The epitheliomata were treated by wide excision and skin grafting. Since after 4 years there was no recurrence of the pemphigus over the grafted area, it was decided to graft the left axilla. The site remained free of pemphigus after 2½ years. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
