Abstract

Since the beginning of 1926, Lebanon has witnessed internal and external political developments that were reflected in their entirety on Britain's policy towards it, as many political events were of great importance in influencing the reality of Lebanon in its various fields. The British intervention became clear because the French interference in their areas of influence eased, especially that competition increased dramatically between 1930-1936 through direct British-French interference in the election issue and the support of each party as a candidate in order to ensure the preservation of its interests.
