Abstract

Thirdly, the quantitative LC-MS/MS determined an MDMA serum concentration of 0.48 mg/L. This child predominantly experienced central nervous system effects: status epilepticus followed by agitated and irritating behaviour. Dear Editor, The use of 3,4-methylenedioxymethamphetamine (MDMA) is prevalent in the Netherlands [[1]]. Earlier reported MDMA intoxications in young children included hyperthermia in addition to seizures and tachycardia [[3]]. [Extracted from the article]
