Abstract
- It would derive from these findings that any women with a GDM diagnosis only according to IADPSG criteria was destined to have a LGA newborn and on the other side, that all these LGA newborns would be prevented with a GDM diagnosis and appropriate treatment. Dear Editor, We read with a great interest the meta-analysis of Saccone et al. addressing randomized controlled trials (RCT) on the one step vs two step approach for gestational diabetes mellitus (GDM) diagnosis [[1]].
