Abstract

In this evolving scenario, we read with great interest the recent cross-sectional study by Kaya et al. [[7]], who compared surgical outcomes following laparoscopic hysterectomy and vNOTES hysterectomy in obese patients. Vaginally assisted Natural Orifice Transluminal Endoscopic Surgery (vNOTES) is a recent and newly introduced technique which has a wide application in gynecologic surgery and other medical specialties [[1]].
