The Cooperation among Participants of Chinese Agricultural Machinery Insurance Based on Game Analysis.

As the insurance for agricultural machinery features the attributes of quasi-public goods, its participants not only include farmers and insurance companies but also the government. The role played by the government will impose a direct impact on the development of the insurance for agricultural machinery. This paper sheds light on the behavior of the participants in agricultural machinery insurance from the aspects of economics and management. The game analysis is carried out on the participants to elaborate on the collaborative conditions for the long-term and stable development of agricultural machinery insurance. On this basis, the study provides policy recommendations on the role to be played by the government in agricultural machinery insurance. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
