Abstract

We report a case of IVL with CNS symptoms alone, in which liquid biopsies of both plasma and cerebrospinal fluid (CSF) were diagnostically useful. Our case suggests that liquid biopsies of the CSF produce negative results in IVL because of the exclusive growth of tumor cells within blood vessel lumens. Further investigation of the diagnostic role of liquid biopsies of plasma and CSF in IVL is warranted. [Extracted from the article]
