Research on the Demand and Technical Scheme of Low-Volume Straddle Transportation System.

The straddle monorail system gradually loses its competitiveness in the medium-volume rail transit system, but the low-volume straddle monorail system has great advantages in the low-volume rail transit system and has a wide range of applications and broad market prospects. Presently, there has been no low-volume and miniaturized straddle monorail project application case in China. This paper analyzes the light-weight requirements of straddle-type monorail transportation system, and studies the core components of lightweight straddle-type monorail transportation system, such as new vehicles, bogie structures, bridges and turnouts, and proposes articulated straddle-type monorail vehicles and technical schemes such as juxtaposition of track beams and flexible joints to determine the professional technical conditions. A domestic air track train line is taken as an example to carry out simulation design, and the results show that the technical and economic indicator of the new lightweight straddle-type transportation system is 145 million Yuan/km, and the lightweight of vehicles and the simplification of supporting facilities are fulfilled with evident economic advantages .
