Abstract

The article explores A 61-year-old male patient was referred to our hospital due to prolonged epistaxis. He was found to have pancytopenia (hemoglobin: 5.8 g/dL, platelets: 3 × 109 /L, and white blood cells: 2 × 109 /L with 4% blasts). A bone marrow examination showed a hypercellular bone marrow (blast frequency: 67.8%). Bone marrow smears (Figure 1) demonstrated that some blasts had micronuclei, and other cells contained pseudo-Chédiak-Higashi granules.
