Oral Manifestations of COVID-19 with the Recent Diagnostic Approaches.

SARS-CoV-2 infection resulting in COVID-19 has spread worldwide and resulted in many deaths. It was declared as a pandemic by the WHO on the 11th of March 2020. Similar to SARS-CoV from 2003, the SARS-CoV-2 zoonotic virus also acts on the ACE-2 receptors and mainly spreads through respiratory droplets. Most scientists and researchers believe that human to human transmission is prominent and is mainly due to respiratory droplets.
