Abstract
- The results of a simplified computer simulation of the stress–strain state of a hip joint endoprosthesis made of a carbon–carbon composite material in an elastic medium. The results of static analysis of a bone prosthesis element made of a fibrous composite material with carbon fiber in the form of a reinforcing substance and phenol-formaldehyde resin as a binder are provided. The main assumptions made in the calculation including simplified modeling of a composite material as an orthotropic material with homogenized properties, as well as estimating the safety margins for maximum stresses without using specialized strength criteria.
