REC, KfW ink loan for India power + renewables.

Abstract
- REC, under the Ministry of Power, has signed a $169.5 million loan from German investment and development bank KfW to support power and renewable energy projects in India. Additionally, this is the fifth credit line signed between REC and KfW for the financing of power sector projects, and the third credit line for the financing of renewable energy projects. KfW will provide official development assistance (ODA) term loan under the Indo-German Bilateral Partnership with the approval granted by India's Ministry of Finance, Department of Economic Affairs.
