Abstract

A 73-year-old otherwise healthy male patient presented to his family doctor with unspecific lower urinary tract symptoms. A) Retrorectal lymph node metastasis of the prostate cancer b) Anterior sacral meningocele c) Colorectal carcinoma d) Tailgut cyst e) Leiomyosarcoma Conclusion • The pararectal cystic lesion is most likely a tailgut cyst and did not show any signs of malignant transformation. An additional rectal endosonography showed a cystic lesion of 13 mm close to the rectum and calcifications of the prostatic adenocarcinoma. [Extracted from the article]
