The article focuses on historiographic study of the interrelation between the city of Puebla, Mexico and the San Francisco River and economic and geographical integrity of Nation. It mentions how does the San Francisco river, one of the most important urban spaces and one of the main resources for the local economy at different times. It also mentions Rivers are referents symbolic and resources for social reproduction, they are pathways of communication, and transport of people.
