Abstract
- The aim of this study was to test the effectiveness of an occupational therapy program to promote well-being in people with experiences of mental illness. The method was a multicentre collaborative study. The intervention group participated in an occupational therapy program to promote well-being in addition to the standard program of day hospital/psychiatric occupational therapy, while the control group only participated in the standard program only. Results showed that the intervention group had effects on three factors, including "Positive emotions," "Willingness to ask for help," and "Achievement." The effectiveness of this program needs to be further tested in a randomized controlled trial. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
