Abstract

The article is devoted to the vibration isolation theory of vibro-active objects: engines, generators, pumps, compressors, fans, pipelines, etc. A new simple design of vibration isolation support with the quasi-zero stiffness is offered. The mathematical model of the suspension, allowing to select its main options is obtained. Computer calculations have been performed. They show that a significant shift of the natural frequency in the direction of low one in the given suspension in comparison with the support only on screw springs with the same static load allows one to reduce the coefficient of force transfer to the base at operating frequencies. It is shown that the use of a rubber-cord air spring for a stiffness corrector provides significant advantages in comparison with screw springs usually used in it. The proposed support makes it possible to improve the vibration isolation of various technological objects of both small and large mass and operating at low frequencies. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
