Abstract

Comments on the theory of capitalism that is retrieving itself in its cocoon because of the competition that is waging in the international market. Plea made to the U.S. President Franklin D. Roosevelt by the New England textile industry on the question of the preservation of the rights of private owners; Notification on the point that any import barrier that prevented foreigners from selling in the U.S. would also prevent them from buying raw cotton; Recommendation on the processing tax that should be abolished, in order to reduce the price of raw cotton; Critique of capitalism as a theory that works only if it's constituent units have so little power that they can save themselves, when they are threatened by the competitive market.
