Abstract
- Conclusions Our preliminary data demonstrates than fetuses with isolated CHD have increased levels of the protein oxidation biomarker o-Tyr in amniotic fluid. The aim of this study is to evaluate protein OS biomarkers in amniotic fluid in fetuses with isolated major CHD. Recent evidence suggests that oxidative stress (OS) plays an important role in the pathogenesis of congenital heart defect (CHD). [Extracted from the article]
