Abstract

To our knowledge, this is the first paper to provide evidence that HSCs are the source of M2BP in the liver tissue of patients with liver fibrosis. M2BPGi, M2BP, hepatic stellate cell, Kupffer cells, liver fibrosis, WFA+-M2BP A novel serum marker, glycosylated Wisteria floribunda agglutinin-positive Mac-2 binding protein (WFA(+)-M2BP), for assessing liver fibrosis.
