Abstract
- The article discusses the theatrical production "Hamilton, The Musical," created by U.S. composer, actor, and lyricist Lin-Manuel Miranda, and how it could be utilized in classrooms to give students a greater sense of U.S. founding father and statesman Alexander Hamilton's life and times in the late 18th century. The author discusses the musical's presentation of finance, immigration, and abolitionism and how those themes might be explored in a classroom setting.
