Abstract
- In the article, the authors present their cohort study on the relationship between light at night (LAN) and incident breast cancer in African American and White women in the U.S. Topics include how LAN inhibits nighttime production of melatonin, the use of Cox proportional hazards models in estimating hazard ratios (HR) and 95% confidence intervals (CI), and the strong correlation between LAN and urbanization.
