AEM special issue on (in)equity in emergency medicine.

An introduction to the journal is presented in which the authors discuss the various topics within the issue, including implicit biases in healthcare, gender differences in leadership, and the impact of race in managing pediatric gastroenteritis patients in the emergency department (ED).
