In the article, the authors present their study which examined the explicit and implicit biases among pediatric emergency department (ED) physicians in the U.S. based on race, ethnicity and weight. Also cited are the possible correlation of physicians' demographics and their racial, ethnic and weight biases, and the results like the reduced implicit bias by overweight or obese physicians against Hispanic individuals.
