Abstract

A mismatch between the myocardial perfusion imaging (MPI) and angiographic findings have been previously reported in some instances and attributed to vasospasm of the coronary arteries secondary to various mechanisms.[1],[2] Similar findings have been described after corticosteroid administration[3] [5]. Here we present a case of a multiple sclerosis (MS) patient that developed transient myocardial ischemia on MPI but had a negative coronary angiogram after transient high-dose corticosteroid administration.
