Abstract

Aiming at the temperature control of the multi-loop engine cooling system, this paper establishes a mathematical model of the multi-loop cooling system. Taking the engine multi-loop temperature control and energy consumption optimization as research goals, a nonlinear adaptive control strategy based on Lyapunov is proposed. It achieves the engine and transmission temperature control and compensation for unknown heat load. The fuzzy control method is introduced as a comparative experiment. The results show that the designed nonlinear adaptive control strategy has fast response speed, small steady-state error, and 10.7% reduction in energy consumption.
