Abstract
- Multiple papers have reviewed the MRI and CT scan lesions observed during brain trichinellosis [[7]] but, due to the so far unknown damage of the liver during trichinellosis, there is a lack of liver imaging performed during the acute phase of the parasitosis. In addition, the careful analysis of the MRI lesions described by Xiong et al. paper shows that they are very similar to those observed during fascioliasis or clonorchiasis and reported in numerous papers [[13]-[15]].
