Abstract

The article focuses on the state of Georgia's 2018 General Election and examines whether its election procedures violated international law. Topics discussed include the International Covenant on Civil and Political Rights (ICCPR) adopted by the United Nations General Assembly and the obligations of member States under this Covenant, and offers recommendations for the U.S. government to that Georgia's election procedures comply with the ICCPR.
