Abstract

Compared to laparoscopic surgery, robot-assisted surgery has shown ergonomic advantages for all muscles except the trapezius [3], but is more costly than laparoscopic and open surgery [4]. The robot system is a master-slave system and consists principally of a surgeon console, patient cart, and vision cart.
