Abstract

Our journey for our true home girds us to endure the hardships of life. There is a deep place within each of us that remembers who we were created to be and the purposes that we bear in our beings. This is the place where hope resides, where the Spirit dwells and invites us to come. The thread of resiliency reveals itself throughout this narrative as God is at work at every turn. Even in the darkest places, He's there waiting, nurturing, and carrying the brokenness of the world. It is a snapshot of the Gospel embedded in the story of a young girl who is touched by the traumatic histories of her country and family. We find that the dark night of the soul is long and arduous, and the wrestling will leave us with a limp. Yet, it is in that very place we discover that life isn't about living it, rather it is about discovering the source of life through our living. As we journey with others in this discovery, may we continue to live life full with the source of life. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
