How the Media Affect Their Readers in the Times of State of Emergency.

The issue of manipulative techniques and their use in the media is currently a global topic. In this article, I will focus on specific events that have been reported on the first pages of the most read Czech newspapers. The aim of this thesis is the analysis of manipulative techniques in the papers BLESK, MF DNES and PRÁVO. The thesis will take the form of a one-case study, in which it will discuss the approach of three different Czech daily papers to current topics with nationwide overlap.
