Abstract

We describe ultra‐high sensitive force sensor on flat display that can detect and differentiate between feather touch and press touch or tapping. The proposed unique sensor pattern design and pressure‐sensitive material enables ultra‐high force sensitivity, multi force detection (10 points). The force as low as 25g comparable to make force of keyboards can be detected. The proposed technology provides on‐screen keyboard with extremely good performance for dual screen products. Moreover, with integrated force function, we can realize adaptive input interface on display not only the keyboard but also drawing pads, control boards and musical instruments.
