Preparation and properties of two-component waterborne epoxy paint for zipper heads.

A two-component waterborne paint suitable for zipper heads was prepared based on epoxy emulsion E-Pos 1011W55 and amine curing agent Q-RIT 1071. The test results showed that the coating obtained at a molar ratio of 1.14-1.26 for epoxy groups to active hydrogens with organosiloxane as adhesion promoter and propylene glycol diacetate (PGDA) as coalescing agent is bright and smooth, and its adhesion strength, pencil hardness, impact resistance, abrasion resistance, water resistance, alkali resistance, and washing durability meet the requirements of practical application.
