AMP unveils doctors' choice for top ads.

Abstract

This article reports that physicians gave advertising for Shire's ulcerative colitis drug Pentasa highest honors for 2003 in the second annual Doctor's Choice Awards. The advertisement, by Abelson-Taylor, depicts a water slide in the shape of an intestinal tract along with the strapline,"Delivers Top to Bottom." The advertisement was also voted best in the gastroenterology and single-page categories. The Doctor's Choice Awards, sponsored by the Association of Medical Publications, were presented on September 23, 2004 at the Lighthouse at Chelsea Piers, New York.
