Abstract

Long‐acting somatostatin analogs, including lanreotide slow release (LAN‐SR) and octreotide long‐acting release (OCT‐LAR), can improve hypoglycemia in insulinoma. LAN‐SR may be more beneficial in some patients with insulinoma than OCT‐LAR. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
