Abstract

The new chiral metal-organic coordination polymer [ZnLH·4 H<subscript>2</subscript>O]<subscript>n</subscript><superscript>+</superscript>/[HL]<subscript>n</subscript><superscript>−</superscript> (H<subscript>2</subscript>L is 2-(l-prolylamino)benzene-1,4-dicarboxylic acid) was synthesized based on the available l-proline-substituted 2-aminobenzene-1,4-dicarboxylic acid derivative. The unique crystal structure of the new compound was established by powder X-ray diffraction. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
