- Presents a letter to the editor and a response of the editor regarding Archibald MacLeish's poem, "Lines for an Interment," and his review of "The First World War." Accentuation on the unusual death of the people in the war and the life led by war victims; Criticism of personal power of poet's logic and the attitude to be adopted by the present generation; Reduction of all art to propaganda by the Communist intellectuals; Questions raised not about the personal power of logic but the exercise of this logic.
