Research Progress of Alginate Fiber in Biomedical Field.

Research status of alginate fiber in biomedical field was discussed. Structure and properties and production preparation process of alginate fiber, and application status in biomedical field were introduced. Development of alginate fiber was prospected. It is considered that optimizing preparation process of alginate fiber, improving functional design of alginate fiber, developing new high-end intelligent and imitation biomedical textiles can effectively expand scope of alginate fiber in the biomedical field.
