Abstract

The authors examined the utility of axillary ultrasound (aUS) and primary tumor biomarker profile in identifying patients with axillary complete pathological response. Topics mentioned include the use of the Picture Archiving and Communication System software to measure cortical thickness, association between aUS lymph node appearances, tumor biomarker profile, and histological LN status post-neoadjuvant chemotherapy, and absence of a fatty hilum on aUS.
