Abstract

Clinical heterogeneity and predictors of outcome in primary autoimmune hemolytic anemia: a GIMEMA study of 308 patients. Cold agglutinin mediated autoimmune hemolytic anemia is rare condition, constituting approximately the 15% of all autoimmune hemolytic anemia [[4]]. Autologous peripheral blood stem cell harvest and transplant in a patient with cold agglutinin disease secondary to lymphoma. Cold agglutinin mediated autoimmune hemolytic anemia is an uncommon disorder characterized by the presence of cold agglutinins and it is associated with clinical symptoms caused by anemia and agglutination of red blood cells (RBC) in the coolest and peripheral parts of the body causing circulatory disorders such as acrocyanosis, Raynaud-like symptoms and livedo reticularis [[1]].
