Abstract
- The article focuses on 1862 International Exhibition held in London, England and fairs could be exploited as strategic settings for representing their industrial, commercial, and cultural supremacy. It mentions provisional character that offered extraordinary opportunities for host countries to build original and magnificent buildings intended to exhibit a synthesis of the nation's development. It also mentions course of political decisions and their historical development.
