In order to inherit Dong brocade better in the process of modernization and humanism, endow the Dong nationality culture with new vitality, in this paper, the Dong brocade was selected as the object of study, and the artistic characteristics of the Dong brocade pattern were analyzed from the decorative art, plastic arts, composition art, color matching art, which was applied with modern technology such as 3D printing, laser engraving technology, modern Batik process. The application form and innovative design method of Dong brocade pattern in clothing were explored, which endow new thinking for the inheritance and application of the art of Dong brocade pattern.
