Information Retrieval Systems for Interlibrary Exchange in the Web Environment.

The relevance of the problem of searching in information retrieval systems for placing orders for interlibrary exchange is highlighted. The value of the search tools of Russian and foreign information and library structures that provide document metadata is revealed. The search potential of the IRS is identified, analyzed, and generalized. The special contribution of integration systems to ensuring effective searching, ordering, and delivery of documents on interlibrary loans is emphasized.
