Abstract
- The paper presents the results of a study of the effect of the concentration of bentonite nanoparticles on the thermomechanical characteristics of composites based on HDPE. The principal possibility of increasing the heat resistance of composites by sizing bentonite and functionalizing HDPE with methacrylic acid is shown. New approaches to the interpretation of the properties of polymer nanocomposites depending on the processes that occur at the interface of the formed mineral-polymer hybrid structures are presented.
