Effects of Lifestyle Intervention of Maternal Gestational Diabetes Mellitus on Offspring Growth Pattern Before Two Years of Age.

In the article, the authors present their study which examined the effects of lifestyle intervention in maternal gestational diabetes mellitus (GDM) on the growth pattern of newborns before two years of age. In the research, a population-based randomized controlled trial (RCT) was carried out in Tianjin, China. The study compared the effectiveness of intensive care (IC) against usual care (UC) on adverse pregnancy results in patients with GDM.
