IF results on day 2 (A-D) and day 24 (E-H), showed that IL-13+VP treatment resulted in a decreased basal cell percentage (D, H), decreased YAP activity in basal cells (B, F), and a decreased basal cell proliferation level (C, G). Generally, YAP inhibits epithelial differentiation.8 However, our results demonstrated that YAP can also promote goblet cell differentiation and YAP inhibitor reversed IL-13-induced goblet cell hyperplasia.
