Abstract

Features Though I don't have hard numbers to back me up, I speculate that at least 50 percent of modelers wind up re-creating the railroads they were in close proximity to during their youth. Having grown up in Baltimore and the quaint Victorian-era suburb of Glyndon, Md., 19 miles to the northwest during the 1960s and '70s, I was heavily entrenched in the Western Maryland Ry. (WM) from toddlerhood.
