Abstract

The article discusses hyperphosphatemia in children has caused by different etiologies including kidney failure, vitamin D toxicity, tumor lysis syndrome, tissue necrosis, and endocrine disorders including hypoparathyroidism. Topics include the principal causes of hyperphosphatemia have low levels of parathyroid hormone (PTH), decreased renal response to PTH; and the blood calcium levels of the parents have investigated and found to be normal.
