Abstract
- The article discusses the study "CDR132L Improves Systolic and Diastolic Function in a Large Animal Model of Chronic Heart Failure," by S. Batkai and colleagues, that was published within the issue. The study assessed the safety and efficacy of CDR132L, a synthetic lead-optimized oligonucleotide inhibitor of miR-132, in a porcine model of chronic heart failure triggered by closed chest balloon-induced myocardial infarction.
