The Changing Face of Media Houses with the Use of Mobile Phones: A Literature Review.

The rapid increase in use of smartphones has increased the scope of work or tasks we can do through this small handheld device. So much so that it has come to the point that journalism as a profession is now seen to be encapsulating in this rectangular electronic device. The paper makes an attempt to bring together the literature that is available on mobile journalism and critically examine the content for the prediction of mobile journalism in coming times. It takes into account the current pandemic conditions and its affect per se. The paper, to the best of my knowledge, is by far the first to give an encompassing view on the evolution, implementation, adaptation and futuristic aspects of mobile journalism along with its scenario in current Covid times.
