Abstract

After the Asian currency crisis in 1998, Vietnam's economy entered a new period of economic growth. Using a unique dataset of 5,267 foreign firms with investments in Vietnam during the period 2005 to 2016, Quan and Nguyen investigate the entry mode choice of foreign investors when entering Vietnam. Nguyen and Vu analyze the degree of asset investment diversification that affects firm performance through the mediating effect of business diversification. [Extracted from the article]
